Hello there, welcome to our little food blog.

I love to eat but everything I eat instantaneously metabolizes and is assimilated into the swath of padding around my midsection. I am a well-cushioned young lady.

There is a saying floating around out there: “capable mothers produce useless daughters”. I am one of those useless daughters. In college I had to Google how to dice an onion. I’ve made some improvement since then.

Sometimes after I finish baking and I look at my sink overflowing with dough-encrusted bowls, I entertain the thought of hiring a maid. Alas, my entry level job does not afford me the luxury of hiring a personal dishwasher.

 I am a noob photographer armed with a Nikon D5100 my dad purchased for me a couple of years ago. Well, technically he purchased it for himself but…mi casa es su casa, right? So for all intents and purposes, it’s mine. Thanks dad for your help in making this blog possible.

Learning how to take pictures of food has been quite a journey. At the end of the day though, I am happy I get to partake. That’s the best part. Feast yer eyes.
